Day 7 (391 miles): Short explanation of a "no photo" period. We rode I-70 east for like a gazillion miles (nothing worth taking a photo of), and then we got on US 36 again in northeast Kansas, rode it through MO and into IL, then got onto I-72 and later I-74. Again, nothing photogenic, and now it was getting dark.
Around the IN border, at around 1:30 am, and after almost 1000 miles, I was too worn out to go on. I pulled into a school parking lot and went to sleep. Matt continued on without me, to his parent's house near Indy.
I awoke at 7:15 to parents literally driving around me to drop their kids off - unbelievably, no one woke me, or called the cops. I hastily got dressed (yeah, I was wearing nothing but my shorts in my sleeping bag!) and GTFO of there.
Anyway, long story short, I had a relaxing morning ride to Richmond IN, where I ate breakfast, and then got back on US 36 to ride the entire Ohio section home... I took this shot in Piqua, OH.
